A wonderful opportunity to explore the magical world of dance through creative expression, teamwork, and imagination. Dancers will study movement and basic ballet techniques while developing coordination, flexibility and strength, self-confidence and poise. Tea (fruit and herbal) and snacks provided at the end of each class. [Preferred uniform - pink leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes (mandatory) and pink ballet skirt (optional). Hair must be pulled away from face.]

If you love Elvis, The Rolling Stones, and Aretha Franklin, this is the class for you. A 45 minute playful, interactive music class for parents & children. Rhythmic chants, rock n’ roll and pop songs from the 1950’s to the present, movement & instrument play are emphasized. This class benefits children’s motor skills, language development, and socialization.

Dance Around the World (Ages 3 - 6 yrs)

This unique dance class will introduce children to music and dances from around the globe. From Africa to Hawaii, S. America to The Caribbean, and Asia to Europe children will be moving to the rhythm and beat. Each class will focus on a particular musical genre allowing children to express themselves in a creative atmosphere.

Build, Construct, & Sculpt (Ages 4 - 5 yrs)

An advanced art program for boys and girls who have a knack for making art come alive. Children will learn how to plan, build, and construct their projects which will range from multi-dimensional objects, to diaramas, to coiled pots, and much more. Their masterful little hands will be very busy during this class packed with the right balance of guidance and freedom to explore the theme of the week. A variety of materials will be used to create amazing individual and group projects.

Parent & Me (6 - 18 mos)

This unique parent/child program is designed for parents and children to spend quality time together in a fun and nurturing environment . Children will also benefit from this program by developing their social skills, cognitive skills, verbal skills and a sense of awareness. The parent discussion time is a time for parents to communicate their thoughts and concerns about a certain child care subject, e.g., "my child won't sleep through the night" or "homemade baby food vs. store bought baby food." Parents will also will learn songs, games, and other fun ways to interact with their child.

Eco-friendly stories followed by valuable activities will educate your child plus we’ll create masterpieces with natural and recylcled materials. We manage to keep your little environmentalist very busy during this class with projects, stories, games, snacks, and more...all while learning about our Mother (earth). Your kids will never look at garbage the same way!

Toddler Time (18 - 24 mos)

Let’s face it, 18-24 months can be challenging! However, at this age your child is thoroughly fascinated with everything around them - colors, textures, songs, dancing, and more. This hands-on class will let their creative minds run wild while exposing them to the idea of structure and direction. Your toddler will be elated while they lose themselves in arts & crafts, learn new songs, dance with friends, and develop language skills during interacitve story time, all while exploring with their bodies & minds.

Handstand Kids Cooking Class
After our popular summer camp, we are excited to offer a new cooking course based on The Handstand Kids Cookbook series. Handstand Kids cookbooks are the perfect recipe for kid chefs to learn how to cook, while discovering the people, places, and language of a new country . This class will introduce kid chefs to healthy and delicious Italian, Mexican, and Chinese foods.

The Alliance Française
Help your child get the strongest start possible with French. Counting, the alphabet, games, songs, and dances are emphasized in a total immersion environment. No prior knowledge of French required for child or parent. A different topic is covered every week.

Move Like A Superhero (Ages 4 - 6 yrs)

If your child wishes they could leap tall buildings and conquer the bad guys this is the class for them. This class will give kids a chance to be creative and incorporate some of their favorite superhero action moves through dance, martial arts, music, and movement. Action-packed fun that builds strong muscles and focused minds. A great and wonderful way to bring their imagination and cartoon heroes to life.
